If the batteries are in good condition, ensure the nano-receiver is correctly linked to a USB port on your computer. Turn the mouse upside down, slide the rear cover off, then replace and cover the battery. Look for a little light on the top of the mouse to check for batteries if you don’t see it or it’s faint, replace the AA battery. Check for and replace the batteries if you haven’t replaced them in a long time and the mouse stops working. The Logitech Wireless Mouse M310 has 18-month battery life. Method 1- Check Mouse Batteries and USB Connection ![]() When your wireless mouse stops working, follow these basic troubleshooting steps to determine whether the problem is with the device or there is some connectivity issue.Ĭonnectivity issue is the most common cause of mouse malfunction. Just work your way down to find the one that works for you. Cleaning in ultrasound bath helped, but in the latest case, the vertical movement detection (and sometimes also horizontal) significantly degraded on some surfaces (still works on others).Note : You don't have to try all the steps. The latest one was - left mouse button randomly released and pressed again when I hold it (it could be seen when I tried to make a box selection or move files). Periodically left or right mouse buttons also start to have problems. I had to adapt to use left+right click when I need to use middle button. I removed the rubber cover from the wheel to fix it.Īfter 9 months of usage I had problems with middle button (I don't remember exactly what, I think it almost completely stopped working). Initially it came with some manufacturing defect: when you rotate the wheel you sometimes feel that you have to apply larger force to rotate it. I'd like to add my own experience with this mouse. If you want to use it, get ready to relearn how to only use keyboard hotkeys. You can get better wiredoce for less, better wired mice at the same price, and better wireless mice for more. I would recommend giving this to your dad who needs to upgrade from a trackpad. It does what it needs to do, left click, right click, and scroll wheel. The Logitech M310 is a work mouse through and through. Stop hurting the little guy's feelings because it can't flex like the Naga with 17 buttons. Literally anything else: It does what it can do well, ok. Sensor reliability: I play minecraft pvp which doesn't need flicking so I don't know but the lift distance is pretty high It's a $30 wireless mouse with nothing besides a left and right click, I'd be disappointed if it misclicked ![]() I'm not going to go over details but here's some stuff I know from using it for over a year.Ĭlick reliability: It reads all of its clicks. This is a work mouse you give to your dad, not a gaming mouse. Software: The Logitech software doesn't recognize it so I'm guessing no Part 2: Use in games The only thing Logitech says about the sensor is that is "invisible optical". It's not a deathadder, and whenever I try my fingertips touch the mouse pad. This is not a mouse you want to palm grip on. It needs a single AA battery to use, and it is advertised to last a year on one. It connects to the computer through a USB adaptor. I haven't been interested in gaming mice for that long so I don't know what switches these are but I assume it's mechanical. It has the necessary left and right click and a scroll wheel. The mouse is, as I've said before, very basic. If you include the batteries it weighs 99 grams. Looking at the actual mouse it is 111 mm long and 62 mm thick. The mouse costs $30, a good asking price for a mouse that won't break immediately. Idiot me decided it would be a good buy after my last one broke. ![]() The M310 is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse meant for basic tasks. I saw that meme of someone talking about taking photos of mice instead of actual reviews, so I will review this work mouse, and then when I get my Redragon M711 I'll review that because you guys don't have a review of it.
